When you press Run, the files in the editor and any command-line arguments you enter are sent to our execution servers, which compile and run the program and send its output back to your browser. Input you type while the program runs is sent to it the same way. This is the only purpose your code is sent for.
Share Links
When you create a share link, a copy of your files and the selected language is stored in our database so that anyone with the link can open it. You choose whether the link expires after 24 hours, 1 month or 6 months, or never; an expired link no longer opens. Do not put passwords, keys or other private information in code you share. To have a link removed sooner, email us with the link.
Feedback
When you send feedback from the editor, we store your rating, the topic, your message, the page you sent it from, your screen size, browser and operating system, and your email address if you give one. We use it to improve the site and, if you left an email, to reply. We do not use it for marketing or share it with anyone.
